A new type of dog breed has been emerged and they have only been around for a very short period. Name of the species "Teddy-Bear" is not an official name it is just a reference. They are a cross over breed between Bichon Frise and a Shih Tzu. A person can describe all the different breeds of teddy bear dogs which might include Poodles, Shih Tzu, Yorkshire Terriers, Cocker Spaniels and Schnauzers.
Teddy bear puppies normally weigh 11 to 16 pounds, but they can weigh up to 20 pounds. They can be in various colours, but the most common ones include black, white and different shades of brown. Their colours add to their charm as two teddy bear puppies don’t often look completely similar. They are also cuddly, but don’t shed a lot. Moreover, such dogs don’t produce a lot of dander as most breeders focus on breeding hypo-allergenic dogs. Teddy bear puppies are perfect for those with allergies, but want to keep a pet at home. Teddy bear dogs also love physical contact. They are devoted dogs and usually get along with other pets. It’s normal for a teddy to take a nap at your feet or in your lap. This breed is also good with young children. They were actually bred as therapy pets for people with disabilities. The loving nature of this breed makes them a perfect pet for everyone. Teddy bear dogs don’t bark a lot. They will only do so when they see someone new for the first time or when they sense danger.
